JULY 28, 2013
mixing up the 2 litters down at the t tent was successful
basically the mothers didn't really care- i have decided they only reason they are nursing now is they have too much milk-- they don't care who empties them..

small problem with the 3 harl pups, but we did get it right... had to check the cheat sheets..
nice group of pups every one...

merl;ow still tries to order pi around but othert than that -- it was possible to let them mix in that v pen

*************

2 cp'S FROM RI WERE HERE TO HELP WITH CHORES MOST OF THE DAY...

**************

I EXPENDED ALL MY ENERGIES THIS MORNING ON FINDING BUCKWHEATS COGGINS TEST SO WE CHA SHIP HIM OUT ON TUESDAY

IT WASN'T EASY BUT I FOUND IT..
*************
COGGINS-- THAT IS TO PROVE HE IS NOT A CRRIER OF XXXXX WHICH I DON'T THINK HAS BEEN SEEN HERE IN 20 YEARS???

THEY STARTED THIS "MUST HAVE A COGGINS TST TO BREATHE" WHEN JANINE WAS 8? AND HAD TINKER-- HER PONY THT SHE RODE SO HARD SHE WORE OUT STEEL SHOES IN 3 WEEKS INSTEAD OF THE USUAL 8 WEEKS.. I WAS TERRIFIED-- THEY MADE SUCH A PUBLOIC RELATION CAMPAIGN ABOUT IT "ANY POSITIVES MUST BE DESTROYED AS CARRIERS"

YOU COULD NOT GO TO A HORSE SHOW-- OR TRANSPORT ETC.. AND I WAS AFRAID TINKER WOULD TEST POSITIVE ( SHE EVENTUALLY DID NOT) BUT IT WAS ONLY $10 SO I STOPPED COMPLAINING...

NOW IT IS A FARM CALL ....................$52.00
                                      DRAW BLOOOD 18.00
                             SEND TO STATE LAB 11.00

                                       COGGINS TEST 10.00-------------------YEARLY

I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHEN AND WHERE WAS THE LAST CASE OF XXXXXX

THERE MAY BE A VERY GOOD REASON.. BUT I NEED TO HAVE MY MEMORY RFRESED.....-- I CANT EVEN REMEMBER WHAT WE ARE TESTING FOR..
****************
AT ANY RATE HE IS READY TO GO-- I THINK TUESDAY.

IT MIGHT HAVE WORKD.. BUT IT DIDN'T

IT IS NOT GOING TO BE EASY TO "REPLACE" MARY....
 ******************

BUSY DAY AHEAD-- NOT A SH#TTING SUNDAY--- BUT WE ARE SOLD OUT

AND I AM GOING TO PRINT OUT THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK FOR NEXT SUNDAY--

I WORK HARD ON THIS SHATUPON SOCIETY...

SO FAR IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS..

              ON A SH#TTING SUNDAY MORNING

THE PRINTER HAS REFUSED TO WORK AT ALL

THE LISTO OF PEOPLE WOULD NOT PRINT

THE LITTLE CIRCLE PROGRAM REFUSED TO GO BEYOND 630

AND I RAN OUT OF INK...

I DO NOT WANT THAT EXCITEMENT.......
THE RULE "WE PUT OUT NUMBERS AT 2:30 AND CHICKENS AT 3:00 HAS HAPPENED... BUT I HAVE SKATED UNDER THE WIRE EACH TIME.

************

FOR BETTER OR WORSE JANINE HAS THE BOOK SO I DON'T HAVE THAT ...

LOOKING FORWARD TO A RELAXING SUNDAY.

I AM NOT YELLING-
- I CAN NOT SEE the small print

  1. COGGIN'S TEST: TESTS FOR EQUINE INFECTIOUS ANEMIA...THE SCIENTIST IN ME MADE ME LOOK IT UP. APPARENTLY 0.5-1% OF HORSES WILL TEST POSITIVE. MOSTLY IN THE SOUTHEAST. NO CURE IF THE ANIMAL SURVIVES BUT THAT ANIMAL DOES BECOME A CARRIER.

  2. My computer was struck by lightening and I am just back up. Trying to catch up on what I missed. What is going on with Benjamin Bickwheat? I gather he is leaving. Why is this? Missed it all.
