MONDAY AND NO EARLENE---   SHE HAS GOnE TO HELP HER SISTER MOVE  from nc...AND THEN NEXT WEEK SHE STARTS BABY SITTING HER  ?GREAT? GRANDCHILD...
MY WEEK IS DISRUPTED-- BIG TIME...
MON IS EARLENE - TUESDAY SHELIA-+ WED AMY/JACKY ....THURS MEAT CUTTIN STEVE ....  FRIDAY PAULA /LAURA... and we make it thru to another weekend...cp linda sat pups ---cp dumble did well as an earlene "greeter" sub on sunday..

MY DEPENDENCY ON ALL OF YOU IS OVERWHELMING...   IT MAKES ME NERVOUS NOT TO BE ABLE TO DO IT ALL MYSELF--  BUT I CAN'T. ALL I CAN DO IS PRAY ALOT...
SINCE I HAVE A PHD IN MURPHY'S LAW, I WORRY ABOUT  THE IMPROBABLES  THAT SEEM TO HAPPEN..

LIKE EARTHQUAKES IN CALIFORNIA--  DID ANYONE BUT ME WORRY ABOUT THE  COURTNEY AND CHARLIE IN THE EXPLORE.ORG OFF ICE GETTING WASHED OUT TO SEA?  OR OUR TECH HELP  TIM ?? WHO IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE TOO.

PREPARING FOR  PROBLEMS - LIKE NO ELECTRICITY- IS NORMAL-- AND WE ARE IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE WITH OUR INSTANT START GENERATOR IN THE BARN... LAST TIME WE LOST POWER ( ?3 DAYS AGO?) OUR BARN WAS THE ONLY THING WITH LIGHTS FOR THE 7 MILES INTO IPSWICH CENTER..
I WENT OUT TO LOOK, BECAUSE  I REMEMBER THE NIGHT WE LOST POWER- AND I HAD NOTHING TO DO -- SO I CALLED MY PARENTS IN NEW YORK ONLY TO FIND THEY HAD NO POWER EITHER..  IT WAS THE BIG NORTH EAST BLACKOUT.....
SO WHEN POWER STAYS OFF FOR MORE THAN 1/2 HOUR  I TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT IS GOING ON.. BE PREPARED...

WHICH BRINGS TO MIND... TOM LEHER... I WAS LOOKING FOR MORE MUSIC AND RAN INTO HIS RECORD ON ITUNES..
BE PREPARED- THAT'S THE BOYSCOUT MARCHING SONG
BE PREPARED AS THRU LIFE YOU MARCH ALONG
BE PREPARED TO HOLD YOU R LIQUOR PRETTY WELL
DON'T WRITE NAUGHTY WORDS ON WALLS IF YOU CAN'T SPELL.

HE HAS SOME GOOD ONES--- ANTICIPATING THE LEGNTH OF WORLD WAR 3 TO BE ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF...

**************
ALL IS WELL ON THE DOG FRONT...  EXCEPT I FORGOT TO GIVE OPAL HER  PILLS-- IT NEVER MADE IT TO THE CHART SO IT DID NOT GET DONE--  IT IS THERE NOW  2 AMOX TWICE A DAY

god bless the cut and paste's

This mornings adventure with Lydia took me to my favorite place. Beautiful "Vermont" fields and views..She seemed to really enjoy all the new smells. We practiced our down stays and she tolerated my stopping to get some pics along the way.
I took her out of her vest and put her on a longer lead to see if she had to potty, but she didn't, so back in to her vest and back to work she went..
As we were headed back out, we encountered 4 other people in a group with 4 dogs OFF LEASH! I told Lydia she was such a good girl, and once the people seen Lydia and I from a distance, they began calling their dogs..3 of them were able to get their dogs back on leashes..As we stayed where we were and waited..I just kept telling her how good she was.
The 4th persons dog kept running toward us, then turning around toward them as they were really trying to catch the dog. The owner finally said, "OH, He's harmless"...I said "She is a SERVICE DOG", they all then started calling the dog and finally after probably 5 minutes they caught him and had him on leash.
Lydia stood tall and proud, and so good! As we walked by them I thanked them for doing that. They kept apologizing, I told them we were a new "partnership" and I wasn't sure how she would react, and I appreciated them gathering their dogs..They of course were amazed at how beautiful and well behaved she was..
Once a gain a testament to just how AMAZING Service Dog Project is, and how well trained their service dogs are!
