BIG NEWS OF THE NIGHT -- GRETCHEN IS FINE ---- SHE FELL OFF THE FUTON... WHICH WOULD BE FAILRLY NORMAL EXCEPT SHE TWISTED HER HEAD VERY STRANGELY .. they ARE TERRIFFIALY LIMBER AS PUPS... BUT I HATE A FALL WHERE THE HEAD TWISTS... I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN MANY FALLS LIKE THat
AS I OFTEN SAY-- EXPERIENCE COMES FROM BAD EXPERIENCES....
the other thing i often say ... in handling dogs that want to argue and bicker..." allies are dogs with common enimies".... me.
Now how do you feel about Russia, France, the USA, and now China??? i don't know what news i was listening to but whoever... decided China was a welcome addition because of thier experience at hacking the internet.....
i would say "stranger things have happened" but i'm not too sure in this case..
we are achieving an extended chicken coop-- david- when he gets inspired is a darn good designer/carpenter... he is responsibel for the back "dorm room" which is beautifully configured... we need a roof now... and the corregatd plastic has to be ordered----- unless i can find it at that buildin g place in essex... today's job
to talk to the tractor guy... tony... my plan is to get out of having to move the tractor myself---which i could probbly do- but rt 495 is not my favorite stretch of road..... and it is not towing the tractor and trailer that worries me, it is the short stop an dhaving the tractor come thru the back window of the car...
another thing i often say is " you can not accellerate at the rate with which you can de-cellerate"
zreo to 60 in 4 seconds is slow compared to 60 to 0 in 0 seconds ... which presents a whole bunch of different problems .
wht i am trying to do is... have them get me a 16' dump trailer - with ramps- come down .. pick up the tractor-take it to ayer and put on the doors, then bring it back leave it--- and take my old ( tired) green dump trailer and put the boss snowplow in it and sell that to someone else.. they lied about easy on-off.
it is too cumbersome... i need teh bucket.. and i am sure i can design something more effecient than that hunk of iron.. it would be nice to be able to push snow at an angle and then easily take that off and use the bucket.... -- problem is... ( well winter is the real problem) i need to run around quickly and open the place so staff and volunters can get in-- then go back and clean up and bucket as needed...-- actulaly if a blizzard is predicted, often bunches of people stay here overnight... which is fun... pizza for all !!
the puppies are doing fantstically with the megan marches to and from the barn... megan is getting worn out...-- but the pups are great... cheerfully followin g her -- the photo's are cute... the more frequent spoon feedings show,,,, i should not say spoon feedings... spoon treating is more accurate.. they have alreqady been fed a meal... because if they had not been fed- they would be too hungery to learn anything... so the cans are "extra" treats...
i have a challange sent to me by -- probably george at the veternary hospital-- a veteran with some medical problems bought a golden retriever 3 year ago and no amount of lessons at petco is making a difference... so the wife was told to call me... i am going to tyr and meet with her on monday at the mall . a male... first question ? neutered? but aftetr that ---- it has been a long time since i have dealt with a golden-- they don't think like a dane... from the commets on the phone i think the next problem will be to have the dog take the handler seriously...and not have his happy en3ergy be in control.. a challange- sounds like i can't make it worse...
that will be early monday morn...
richard arrives later... i think.
another thing often said " if you look hard enough we already own everything if we coudl just find it.."---couple examples---
.....the fact that we could "weld" together the aluminim bottom of the yuppy puppy with the bondic stuff someone sent long ago... and i just happened to remember it in the bottom of my collection of balls for the moneky fists... that stuff is great-- now very highly recommended by me. BONDIC .. squirt on some liquid... mush about as needed the appluy the blue light and bang it is all seriously stuck togther.
AND THEN.. SOMEONE SUGGESTED I WEAR HEADPHONES AND LISTEN TO MUSIC INSTEAD OF PEOPLE TALKING BEHIND ME... GREAT IDEA-- AND DARNED IF PAM DIDNT OPRODUCE A BRAND NEW HEAD SET FROM THE OVERFLOW ROOM... AUDIO-TECH SENT A WHILE AGO.. PERFECT..
people have sent a few good pictures for explore's blog-- so i best get on that bandwgon...
“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.”―
