CAKE DAY !!!! let them eat cake !! TODAY AT LEAST....
MY DIET WILL START TOMORROW.. REALLY IT WILL-- SO FAR A DIET MEANS I HAVE NOT GAINED ANY WEIGHT.
I DO HAVE ONE ATHLETE'S TOE-- AND I REMEMBER MY HUSBAND TELLING ME LAST TIME I HAD
ATHLETE'S FOOT "IF YOU WOULD LOOSE 20 POUNDS IT WOULD NOT BOTHER YOU AS MUCH"
THAT WAS HIS ANSWER FOR ANY COMPLAINT I HAD....THE PROBLEM IS ,,,, HE WAS NOT WRONG...
MAYBE THAT SHOULD BE A GOAL.....WEIGH IN THE DAY AFTER CAKE DAY- AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN A MONTH...
IF I HAVE TO POST THE RESULTS, I MIGHT BEHAVE BETTER....
I DO LOVE MY WHIPPED CREAM AND SUGAR...
I DON'T EVEN NEED STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE UNDERNEATH IT.-- JUST PLAIN IT IS FINE.
EVEN WITHOUT CALCULATING THE HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, I EAT ALL THE SUGAR I CAN LOAD ON ANYTHING.
I CAN REMEMBER AS A KID--- COUPLE CHUNKS OF BUTTER IN A FRY PAN MELTED WITH SOME POWDERED SUGAR-
I THINNK I'S OFFICIAL NAME WAS "HARD SAUCE" WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO GO ON PUDDINGS.
BUT I FIGURED OUT WHO NEEDS ALL THAT PUDDING???
AND THEN MY NIECE DEBBY AND I DISCOVERED CANNED FROSTING, -- THEN WORSE....
IN A TUBE IN YOUR POCKET- LOOKED LIKE HAND CREAM-- AND ALL WAS LOST..
I HAVE GOT OVER THE TUBE OF FROSTING-- I JUST DON'T EVEN WALK DOWN
THE SUPERMARKET AISLE WITH FROSTING IN IT.
IT MAY BE CAKE DAY... BUT IT IS ALSO DAY TO TURN OVER THE MANURE PILE
I DID CHURN IT UP THE OTHER DAY, AND FRANKLY - IT COULD USE A HIGHER RATIO OF MANURE.
IT GOT 10 BAGS OF LIME LAST WEEK... AND I HAVE ANOTHER 5 IN MY CAR...
IF IT WAS BETTER ROTTED WE COUD USE IT AROUND... BUT IT IS NOT BLACK YET.
IT IS HOT-- THE STEAM IS ALMOST OVERWHELMING..
THERE ARE MANY STORIES OF MANURE PILES...
I HEARD OF ONE GERMAN FAMILY WHO'S SILVER WQS ALL STRANGELY PITTED..
. THEY EXPLAINED IT WAS BECAUSE THEY HID ALL THEIR SILVER IN THE MANURE PILE DURING THE WAR.
Clark has done very well today at his first day with me at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. It's been a quiet day (and a short one), so good for him to get to check things out for the first time. Earlier, we walked outside, uphill towards another part of the hospital. It's not a steep incline, but I haven't been able to do that in about a year! Also, everyone at my office is so impressed by Clark. There is one woman that I work with who is afraid of dogs--she did come by to see me and Clark. She said that she doesn't like when dogs come up to her and sniff her and want attention--I told her that it's his job to NOT do that! She replied that she wished all dogs were like that, and that Clark is the first dog she's ever liked! Not bad for a day's work.
Our first walk in the woods together. Boy, am I tired. Almost as much as the couch potato on the love seat.
HAD A GREAT PICTURE WITH I-- THAT I REFUSE TO EVEN TRY TO INSERT HERE.
WHICH REMINDS ME ?REFUSING TO TRY DOES NOT CUT THE MUSTARD.
I WISH I COULD DUPLICATE MEGAN'S DESCRIPTION OF GOING WITH CAROLINE AND CLARK ON A PLANE.
APPARENTLY WITH NOT MUCH DIFFICULTY THEY GOT THRU SECURITY ETC.. AND THEN SAT AT THE GATE WHLIE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE TOOK PICTURES... AND ALONG COMES THE GATE GUY "YOU CAN'T GET THAT DOG ON THE PLANE". MEG "YES I CAN'" THEN "THAT DOG WILL NOT FIT ON THAT PLANE" "YES HE WILL" ABOUT 6 OF THOSE AND THEY ALL GOT ON THE PLANE, AND MEG SAID HER JAW DROPPED.... IT WAS THE SMALLEST PLANE SHE HAD BEEN ON IN A WHILE-- BUT THE WENT RIGHT AT IT... AND HE FIT..
BIG LESSON TO CAROLINE--- WHO IS SOOOO POLITE AND WELL BEHAVED--- DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. MEGAN WAS POLITE AND SMILING-- BUT NOT ABOUT OT GIVE AN INCH
IT IS THE 19TH----- GO GET CAKE FOR YOUR LOCAL FIREDEPARTMENTS-- AND LET LINDA ( LINDAKWIATK@GMAIL.COM),, KNOW WHERE -- SO WE CAN SEE IF WE CAN GET ALL 50 STATES...
