APRIL 8 2016
PROBLEMS COME AND PROBLEMS GO--- I FINALLY GOT THE  SURVEILENCE VIDEO OF THE ACCIDENT WITH THE ELECTRICAL ELEVATOR IN  MALDEN-    NOW I KNOW HOW I  GOT GRAVEL IN MY HAIR...OF ALL THE BAD THINGS... BENTLEY BEHAVED PERFECTLY ONCE WE WERE  NOT GETTING SHOCKED.
THE OTHER  SHOCKING PART... IS DO NOT EVER ASSUME THERE IS NOT A CAMERA FOCUSED--- CLEARY FOCUSED-- ON YOU EVERYWHERE..  WHO KNEW???
******
I KEEP REMINDING  MYSELLF AND JANINE ABOUT THAT  CAMERA IN TH E BARN-- A STALL IS NO LONGER THE 4H- LADIES  WIDDLE ROOM.-- YOU ONLY HAVE TO WATCH FLUID POUR OUT OF THE BACK END OF A HORSE TO REALIZE A  LITTLE HUMAN IS LITERALLY A  DROP IN THE BUCKET.
THUS ENDETH THE LESSON FOR THE DAY....

BUT I MAY AS WELL CONTINUE ON THAT THEME-
THE NEW PARKING LOT-- WILL HAVE TO BE COVERED WITH SOMETHIGN ... WHAT BETTER THAN THE STONEE DUST WHICH IS NOW IN THE ARENA-- AND THE DOGS HAVEE  PEE'D ON  A BIT TOO OFTEN....---SPREAD THAT IN THE NEW PARKING AREA     LET MOMMY NATURE SCRUB THAT WITH RAIN   THEN REPLACE THE ARENA WITH NEW-  IT IS ABOUT 6" DEEP-- LOTTA STONE DUST...  IT WOULD TAKE MASTERSON EQUIPMENT 20 MINUTES TO DO ALL THAT.-- OR WE COULD  WITH OUR TRACTOR IN 3 DAYS..

THEY WOULD BE BETTER AT IT...  IT LOOKS SO EASY TO FLATEN OUT  A PILE  OF DIRT  BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO APPRECIATE A BULLDOZER OPERATOR---  IT AIN'T THAT SIMPLE-- WITH OUR TRACTOR  TO TRY AND FILL HOLES IS TOUGH... BY THE TIME  YOU BOUNCE IN A HOLE WHILE YOU ARE TRYING TO FILL  ANOTHER-- YOU HAVE MADE A NEW ONE.
AND THEN THERE IS THE PATH AROUND THE POND---- IT HAS A LOW SPOT WHERE TIRE TRACKS COUPLES WITH LOW SPOT AND WATER COLLECTION HAVE MADE A PERFECT 8" DEEP LIQUID TOPSOIL
WE COULD USE THAT TOPSOIL TO MAKE GRASSY PLACES GROW BETTER-- BUT IF I REMOVE IT. I HAVE A DEEPER WATER COLLECTION PLACE.
HORSES HOOVES ARE PERFECT TOPSOIL CREATION DEVICES--BY ADDING MANURE  THEY CAN TURN SAND INTO MUDDY TOPSOIL IN 6 MONTHS...  ESPECIALLY IF THEY STAND IN  ONE SPOT AND STAMP THEIR FEET TO CLEAR FLYS OFF THEIR LEGS.  THAT IS WHY THE HORSES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE FLAT FIELD OR POND .. I ENJOY  MOWING THE GREEN STUFF... EVEN IF IT IS NOT WHAT YOU WOULD CALL GRASS.
******
I AM HAVING A GRAND TIME WITH THE BOOK SOMEONE SENT "PICKING UP'  BY ROBIN NAGLE--  YOU ALL KNOW I HOLD MY TRASH COLLECTING PEOPLE IN MUCH HIGHER  REGARD THAN MY CONGRESSMEN---.. ROBIN TACKLES THE  CITY OF  NY  DEPT OF SANITATION CURRENTLY   AND THRU THE AGES -- INCLUDING  DEPT OF SANITATION  HAS A HIGHER MORTALITY RATE THAN THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPT COMBINED--  BETWEEN IRATE CAR DRIVERS  DASHING AROUND A TRUCK IN A RAGE  TO GASHING THEIR LEGS ON BENT LICENSE PLATES BETWEEN PARKED  CARS....   WITHOUT THEM THE CITY BECOMES UNLIVABLE IN DAYS.-- SHE GETS INTO THINGS LIKE MALARIA IN THE 1800'S...'COURSE THE ENTIRE PROBLEM IS TOO MANY PEOPLE...

I AM ¾ THRU THE BOOK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Carlene, here is the last write up on Charlie's face book page.

SIR CHARLES
It's been four short years since we went home together and we both looked at each other with that look of concern. You had demands and I had needs, and neither one of us wanted to negotiate or comprimise.  The first month we butted heads and stood our ground vowing not to give in to each other at all cost. But at the end of each of the days we punched the time clock and sat down next to each other in a truce for the night. After a few nights we started talking and eventually came to an agreement that I would listen to you and you would let me know if I didnt.  One morning we just didn't punch in and that was the beginning of a special relationship that continues today. Team Charlie was born!
We have been to the highest peeks and the lowest valleys, side by side, eye to eye, and every bark has had meaning. You have punched me, pushed me, pulled me, and lifted me to keep me straight and on track, all with just enough effort so not to hurt me but to remind me who and what you are. Your actions are so precise it is difficult to even explain.
Today is your day buddy and I'm sure we will talk about our four year journey with tears of joy. Today my boy turns 5 years old. Happy birthday Charlie!

STEVE
