FEB 7 2017

i din't know where i left  You all with  MY  insurance story..AIG life insurance that i have paid into for 30 years and was/is to have a cash value....

I now have in my hands
AIG letter  saying cash value $107,000  dated   2/1/2017
AIG letter sayiing cash value    $0          dated   2/1/2017
letter from COMMONWEALTH OF MASS  INSURANCE DIVISION-- "we are looking into it."  1/31/2017

and money in my hands.... zero.
****
moving on-- clearing up  problems of wierd balances on th e 990 form that the accountant irene had done..
turns out  there is an accountant rule  SAFAS117  that if you are given a grant of 100,000 -- in 2 payments of 50,000 per year,  the year that was awarded  gets the whole $100000 even tho you MAY not have  a penny yet.

that raises h3ll with my internal  mental process..which is simply you get $20 in the mail-- it goes in the banK and Stays there til you spend it ---by check-- therefor the balance in th echeckbook should show a vague similarity to the  money On the bank STATEMENTS.'

the accountatn's way-- which apparently  is the way it is to be legally done--
-weeeelllll lets call it  BIPOLAR ACCOUNTING...   TOTALLY REARANGEING HOW WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH REPORTS WHEN REQUESTING GRANTS... IT LOOKS VERY PRETTY WITH ALL THOSE NUMBERS ALL OVER REAMS OF PAPERS...  BUT IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO THE BANK STATEMENTS.  FOR US  TO HAVE TO DEPRECIATE EQUIPMENT IN A LEGALLY DEVISED SYSTEM OF LIFE EXPECTENCY  IS UNREALISTIC..   FOR EXAMPLE   ---DOGGIE DOORS--T HAT VINYL  DOES COST MONEY-- HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN TO THE IRS....  -"THEY ATE THEM"

BETWEEN THE CUMMINGS GRANT AND THE EXPLORE GRANT  ONE YEAR WE ARE  LAUGHING- THE NEXT WE ARE NOT MEETING THE PAYROLL... BUT WE MUST DO IT THERI WAY

SOUND LIKE THE BUILDING INSPECTOR STUFF???
*************
FOOTBALL WAS CERTAINLY A RELIF FROM THE REGULAR NEWS...
NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE FOOTBALL.
MY EYE TO MIND PROCESS IS NOT  FAST ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH 'THE GROUND GAME"
I CAN SEE A PASS WHEN IT IS THROWN- AND USUALLY I CAN TELL WHICH SIDE THREW IT...
USUALLY..
BUT THE INTRICACIES  OF HEAD BASHING ARE BEYOND ME...I DID NOTICE WHEN A MEMBER OF EACH TEAM GOT THIER FACE MASKS STUCK TOGETHER..  THAT WAS AMUSING....

APPARENTLY THERE IS A BIG PARADE TODAY-- WITH THE DUCK BOATS
THEIR DUCK BOATS... NOT MINE

THAT ... BY THE WAY... IS A GOOD WAY TO SEE BOSTON..  THEY DRIVE AROUND THE STREETS AND OFF INTO THE RIVER LETTING YOU SEE ALL THE  CRITICAL BOSTON HISTORICAL SIGHTS.
REGULATIONS?? I AM TOLD THE PEOPLE WHO DRIVE THEM HAVE TO BE LICENSED CAB DRIVERS, , PASS COAST GUARD TESTS TO BE BOAT DRIVERS. HAVE  EMT REG, AND IT SEEMS THERE ARE MORE I HAVE FORGOTTEN...  IT AIN'T EASY TO GET TO BE A DUCK BOAT DRIVER...
****
THE GIFTS AND ATHLETES ARE NOW MIXED-- IN THE KITCHEN AREA...  WORKING VERY WELL SO FAR... ANTHO  THEY HAVE TO BE WATCHED FOR A WHILE-- THE GIFTS ARE JUST A LITTLE LESS "ADVANCED " AT BITEY FACE 101.     SIZZLE HAS FOUND HER CALLING.. BABY SITTING THE GROUP...

tho this  eamil sounds a little harsh,   the dogs love working and are very comfortable doing their jobs-- and getting all the benefits of doing a good job..

I have just learned a hard lesson and Emmett is paying for it. He was never the problem, it was me.There is a right way and a wrong way to treat these dogs. And my way was the wrong way.
I let him get away with things, not correcting bad behavior, worrying about hurting his feelings, not any  more. You need to be consistent every time, don't take their training for granted, practice, practice, practice, talk to your dog, they are a tool that needs to be kept sharp. When they are working they need to keep 100% focus on you, no distractions what so ever. I have adopted a 100%, all the time, hands off policy while out of the house. He needs to know only me for the time being and get all his love and affection from me too. I've seen great changes in him. I am so thankful for this second chance. I am finally understanding how to use a service dog and how much more they will do for you. When things are not going as planned "stop the world....., take a breath" words to live by, thank you Steve and Megan. I will not fail him.
